The system also helps you schedule work in your shop by monitoring shop capacity and comparing it to the work scheduled. This bar graph shows you instantly how busy your shop is for the next three weeks and how much more work you can schedule in.

Parts orders are created automatically and may be separated by vendor so a P.O. may be faxed or electronically transmitted to your vendor. Critical parts are designated so you don't get a job into the shop until you have the parts necessary to proceed. Tracking the delivery and receiving of parts is made easy by Body Master.

Work orders are created when employees are assigned to jobs. Job operations may be assigned individually or by the entire job and are then tracked automatically by the computer. As the employees complete their assigned jobs, the computer automatically posts their pay for that job to their payroll file.

As parts are received and as labor operations are completed, job cost data is automatically posted to job cost reports either by the individual job or by grouping jobs in designated shop time periods. In this way, the computer provides complete job cost data so you will know exactly the profitability of each job.

Any time a cost item is posted to a job that varies in any degree with the estimate, a supplement is automatically created for you. Of course you can also do supplements manually but the important thing to remember is that the computer will not let you overlook a supplement. YouÕll either have to bill it or write it off but you won't forget it.

In the BodyMaster system, payroll is posted automatically. Employees may be paid on an hourly, commission, or a flat rate basis. You may also combine these methods of payment for an individual employee or job. At the end of a pay period, you can pay partial flat rates or commissions for jobs in progress. The best part is that the payroll is virtually done for you during the pay period as a natural result of managing the shop. When payday comes, just press a button and print ta payroll report. The data on the report can be used in any payroll system.

BodyMaster security protects your data from those who don't need to know.
