You can enter generic parts descriptions and their prices with a barcode reader like the one used in the Mitchell system and never touch the keyboard! Using the information provided in the estimate or job order, the system will provide reports on estimate to job conversion ratios and revenue information broken down by Estimator, Adjustor, Insurance Co., and Referral Sources. It also tracks outstanding estimates for follow-up purposes.

Once your job order is created, either by direct entry or by transferring an estimate, the system begins to track it for you. You can schedule the job through the shop and track its progress by using this bar chart. Anytime a customer calls to ask about how far along their job is in the shop, the information is at your fingertips.
